Placement Committee

MCMAT has developed a placement cell which will help the students in their career planning, preparation for selection test and final placement. MCMAT and MTEA society have strong contacts and effective communication links with many prominent industrial and business organizations. The placement cell takes out effort to match student’s carrier aspirations with the requirements of these organizations. The placement advisory board includes capable and eminent personalities from various sectors of the industry and business.

Placement Activities

Preparation of the list of potential corporate and other institution from all over India and also overseas. Liaison with senior corporate executives of reputed corporate. Timely preparation of the placement brochure and sending it to the concerned industries and corporate. Organizing Placement Readiness Workshop (PRW) and finally arranging the placement interview at the college and help the students to be selected in various Industrial/Institutions

Placement Readiness Workshop (PRW)

Placement Readiness Workshop is for equipping the students with academic and professional skills and guiding them towards a bright future and career growth. As there are large numbers of Management graduates coming out of the B-schools India, the competition for employment is increasing every day and the job of placement is becoming a challenging one. Therefore Placement Readiness Workshop plays a vital role in moulding the students for meeting the industry requirement.

Placement Readiness Workshop consists following activities:

Curriculum Vitae (CV) preparation

As the CV is a living document and gives the first impression about the student, the placement readiness workshop assists the students in preparation of the C.V as per their individual skills and industry requirements. The students are advised to prepare a C.V mentioning their objectives, qualifications, emphasizing their strength, skills and achievement related to the academic carrier.

Group Discussion

Group discussion is an important step in the selection process for the industries. It helps the students to discuss and argue about the topic given, it includes students views on serious subjects and in formal situations. It improves thinking, listening and speaking skills and promotes confidence level. Placement readiness workshop assures that the students   should get an exposure of   group discussion. It is held once in every week with current and relevant topics.

Interview Skills

Interview skills training program helps the students to perform better in the interview process. It improves the confidence and reduces the stress level of the students while facing the interview. It is conducted by both in-house faculty members and by eminent trainers from the industry.

Pre-Placement Talk (PPT)

PPT provides an opportunity to the recruiting company and the students to interact with   each other. The presentation by the company includes the history, growth potential, future opportunities, and jobs available (content, compensation package, location, etc.
