Marthoma College of Management and Technology (MCMAT) conducted National Level Inter-Collegiate Quiz competition, ‘INTELIGENCIA 2016′ – ‘Battle of the Best Brains’ on 18 November, 2016, for degree students of all recognized universities in India. The event was exclusively organized and conducted by the students of MCMAT in a remarkably professional style.
‘INTELIGENCIA 2016′ was inaugurated by Adv. Eldhose Kunnappilly, MLA, Perumbavoor in the presence of Dr. Rajan Varughese, Director, MCMAT and Prof. Dr. Stanley George, HOD, MCMAT. Prayer and blessings were given by Rev. T. S Philip, College chaplain and Vicar of St. Pauls Marthoma Church, Perumbavoor.
The prelims were conducted for 40 colleges by the students of MCMAT out of which 18 colleges were selected for the finals of INTELIGENCIA 2016. 6 teams were selected to the grand finale of INTELIGENCIA 2016 after tough screening.
The prizes were distributed to the winners by Dr. Rajan Varughese, Director, MCMAT. The Battle of the Best Brains was finally won by Chinmaya Vidyapeet, Ernakulam represented by Ms. Bhagyahree and Mr. Traun V M and was awarded with the Ever Rolling Trophy, Retainers Trophy and a cash prize of Rs. 5,000/-. S.H College, Thevera became the second runners up and was awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 3,000/- which was represented by Mr. Bejoy Sebastian and Mr. Ajin Babu. Vimala College, Thrissur respresented by Ms. Navami Satish and Ms. Aiswarya Pradeep, became the third runners up and was awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 2,000/-.
