MCMAT conducted the Annual Budget Talk-14 (8th in the series) on 16th July, 2014. Dr. Rajan Varughese, Director and Principal, MCMAT welcomed the session. The meeting was presided by Shri. Praveen. S, Deputy Commissioner, Income Tax Department, Ernakulam. He gave a deeper insight to the Direct Tax Amendments in the Union Budget-2014. The Chief Guest of the day was Shri. C.P John, Member, Kerala State Planning Board. He critically analysed the Union Budget through two view points – Public Finance and Public Policy. Prof. Stanley George, HOD gave the introductory remarks and Mrs. Deepa Babu, Asst. Professor concluded the session by offering vote of thanks.
