Research Park

The main objective of MCMAT Research Park is to promote and encourage the research and consultancy activities among students and faculty members. It encourage to carry out research in  management, education, technology and other disciplines and provide necessary facilities required for the researchers.

MCMAT Research Park was inaugurated on 10^th February, 2014.

MCMAT Research Park organized Joint International Academic Programme with Bellarmine University, USA inaugurated by Mr. K. G Abraham, Chairman and M.D KGA Group held on 10th February, 2014.

MCMAT Research Park organized Joint International Academic Programme with Bellarmine University, Kentucky, USA conducted an workshop on “Impact of Legal and Regulatory Environment on Strategy Formulation: Doing Business in India and USA”  was inaugurated by Mr. K.G Abraham, Chairman and Managing Director, NBTC and KGA Group, Kuwait on 10th February, 2014 at 9.00 A.M in MCMAT, Conference Hall. Presidential address was given by His Grace The Most Rev. Dr. Joseph Mar Thoma Metropolitan. Technical sessions for the workshop where carried by Dr. Richard Brown, Bellarm ine University, Kentucky, USA on the topic “Legal and Regulatory Environment on Strategy Formulation: Doing Business in USA”, FCA Liju V Rajan Kolath, Director, Kolath Financial Consulting Pvt. Ltd. on the topic “Legal Framework of doing business in India” and Fr. Adam Bunnel on the topic “Spirituality in Business and Management”.

MCMAT Research Park and IIPC presented Meet The Entrepreneur Programme (Lecture Series-I) with Mr. John Kuriakose, M.D, Dentcare Dental Lab Pvt. Ltd. on 1st September, 2015.

MCMAT Research Park and IIPC jointly presented Meet The Entrepreneur Programme (Lecture Series-I) with Mr. John Kuriakose, Founder and M.D, Dentcare Dental Lab Pvt. Ltd. on 1st September, 2015. Mr. John Kuriakose motivated the students with narrating his true life story of success.

Research Activities:

1. MCMAT Research Park has undertaken an international collaborative research project with IIM-Ahmedabad on an International Project during 2015-16.
2. Dr. Rajan Varughese has done Evaluation of Eco-Development Committee Activities in Munnar Wildlife division for Kerala Forest Dept.
3. Dr. Rajan Varughese has done research on Tahr population estimation of Ervaikulam National Park starting from 2003 to 2018.

Consultancy Activities – Business and Industries

1. Rajan Varughese has done Consultancy work for globalmetros.com – business ideas for promotion of online start-ups.
2. Dr. Rajan Varughese, Dr. Stanley George and Mr. Jiju Alexander was providing Consultancy work for Browns Restaurant during 2015-2016
3. Dr.Rajan Varughese appointed as an Advisor for Annual General Body Meeting  (AGM) for  Christian Fellowship Community Health Centre & Christian Educational Health and Development Society which is to be held on 22nd & 23rd August 2014 in Shanthipuram, Ambilikkai.
4. Dr. Rajan Varughese, Director, MCMAT is appointed as Honorary State Co-ordinator, Nilgiri Tahr Census, Eravikulam National Park from 2003 – 2018.

Consultancy Activities – Education

1. Dr. Rajan Varughese offered consultancy for Quality Enhancement of Higher Educational Institutions in India with Colleges and Universities.
2. Dr. Rajan Varughese offered Consultancy for developing tools and instruments for assessment and accreditation representing All India Association for Christian Higher Education (AIACHE).
3. AIACHE was selected by Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE) as an assessment and accreditation of CBSE schools in India under the coordination of Dr. Rajan Varughese.
4. Dr. Rajan Varughese offered consultancy for All India Association for Christian Higher Education (AIACHE) in the first CBSE School assessment and accreditation at DAVE Public School, Chennai, during 27 and 28 February, 2013.
5. Dr. Rajan Varughese, Director, MCMAT is invited to serve as Chairman of the Committee of All India Association for Christian Higher Education (AIACHE) in charge of the School Quality Assessment and Accreditation (SQAA) of CBSE Schools as a national level agency identified by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
