Inauguration of MCMAT Industry Institute partnership cell (IIPC) and Valedictory function of One Month long Management Orientation Programme – 2015 were held on 05th August, 2015 by Rt. Rev. Dr. Mathews Mar Makarios Episcopa, Diocesan Bishop, Kottayam-Kochi Diocese. Presidential address was given by Capt. Verghese Kuruvilla, Treasurer, MCMAT and key note address were given by Mr. George Paul, Managing Director, Synthite Industries. The dignitaries were welcomed by Dr. Rajan Varughese, Director, MCMAT and token of gratitude to dignitaries were given by Prof. Stanley George, HOD, MCMAT.
Rt. Rev. Dr. Mathews Mar Makarios Episcopa inaugurated MCMAT-Industry Institute partnership cell (MCMAT-IIPC). MCMAT-IIPC is established for enhancing the relationship between the institute and industry. This cell identifies the industrial expectation and promotes institutional preparation for meeting industrial needs by facilitating sponsored R&D projects, seminars, workshops and various other industrial training programmes.
