Marthoma College of Management and Technology in association with All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE) hosted a National Seminar on “Forex and Commodities Derivatives”on 20th of September, 2011 at IMA Hall, Kaloor. The seminar focused on creating an excellent overview about forex and commodities derivatives among the academic fraternity. It helped to evolve fresh thinking among practicing managers and experts to explore possible avenues for helping farmers and by ensuring better price realisation for their produce. Renowned experts from Forex and Commodities markets like Shri. Ravi Jain, Assistant Manager, NSE, Kochi, Shri. T. V. N. Girish Kumar, Director, Sharewealth Securities Ltd., Trichur, Shri. Ramesh Chand H. C., Executive Vice President, National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange Ltd., Mumbai, Shri. Sreekanth Chettiyar, Sr. Executive, Kerala, National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange Ltd., Mumbai, and Shri. Anand Sheyon, Kerala State Head, Multi Commodities Exchange, led the sessions. Professors of B-Schools, Dealing room officials of Banks and Reasearch Analysts from broking houses were participants to the event.
